Housing & Assistance Programs
The Housing Authority of the City of Pueblo provides decent and safe housing for families and individuals. We offer a variety of housing opportunities through different government programs. All programs are administered by applications which are submitted through our Leasing Department. Each program has various qualifications that an individual must meet in order to be accepted to a particular program.
To be eligible for housing assistance, applicants must meet at a minimum the following criteria:

- The head of household must be at least of 18 years of age.
- All adult (18 years old or older) members of the household must pass a criminal background check.
- At least one household member must meet HUD requirements for citizenship or immigration status.
- The family must not have been terminated within the past five years from any housing assistance program as a result of a violation of the family obligations as prescribed in their previous Section 8 Voucher or public housing lease agreement.
