Section 8 Landlords
If a Landlord wishes to participate in the Section 8 Voucher program and advertise their property as accepting Section 8 vouchers, contact The Housing Authority of the City of Pueblo. Landlords in this program are responsible for screening potential tenants and providing a lease which matches those dates on the Section 8 voucher. The Resource Library for Landlords will provide more information for Landlords about the Section 8 Program.
Section 8 Streamline Listing Service
All property listings will be available on the Colorado Housing Search web site. This service is a free housing locator service that is jointly sponsored by the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA) and the Colorado Division of Housing with the collaboration of multiple agencies as a public service to the residents of Colorado. The fast, easy-to-use, free search lets people look for rental and for-sale housing using a wide variety of criteria and special mapping features. The service also provides links to housing resources and helpful tools for renters, home buyers, and property managers. It can be accessed online 24 hours a day and is supported by a toll-free, bilingual call center available Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. MT. Property owners and managers, including private landlords, can use this service to manage their property listings free of charge. Listings can include pictures, maps, and information about nearby amenities. Property owners and housing authorities can register and manage their listings online or via phone and fax.
